As mentioned in a previous post, I went to my primary care physician because of the unusual symptoms I was having. In the back of my mind I knew what he was going to say, but I wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth. (I'm pretty sure I knew what he was thinking too - "You're mad!") I explained to him how I had been working close to a small cell for 1 1/2 years and how I felt shaky around it. He told me there was no evidence to support this. Since I had already experienced the medical system's lack of understanding of certain things, this was expected. In my rebel heart I knew he just didn't know.
Many sources over the years were showing me the fact that the medical system, which many believe has all the latest answers as they should, does not. In fact, in many ways they are way behind the curve. One of the first sources I remember was Deepak Chopra saying how medical schools hardly teach about diet and nutrition; it's about diagnosing and medication. There were others in the health arena saying the same.
The most impactful teachings were the ones directly experienced in my life. When I was in my 20s, a friend of our family no longer had asthma after being tested for food allergies and eliminating troublesome foods. I thought this was pure magic. Later on, a friend of mine had a family member suffering from an autoimmune disorder which was healed with diet and herbs over time. I witnessed family and other friends get better when they did basic things like change their diet, meditate, add herbs, or seek alternative solutions. All of this was prepping me to face this terrible medical fact I faced that day. I'm not knocking the medical system - it is GREAT for emergencies and other treatments and it's important to check in with them. It's just that for me, it's one point of information, not the whole truth. I've been frightened by the arrogance that they know everything and can't look into things a bit deeper.
So when my doctor told me there was no evidence, I wasn't going to try to convince him since I needed to preserve that energy for others closer to me! When you're down in the ditch, you have to pick your energetic battles wisely. Some nuts are too hard to crack. So I left his office with mixed feelings stirring in my heart. I was relieved to be out of there since it is hard for me to comprehend this definition of "care" and at the same time I felt such disappointment that so many people who suffer from all sorts of ailments are not getting the highest quality of care they deserve. Man-made EMF is just one subject of many they have no answers for.
Rant over, now onto the science for those who are interested. Note that I won't be talking much about the science on this blog because there are already many sites filling this need. Although science is great and essential, it isn't everything. Behind science is consciousness, which mainstream science doesn't recognize! :) In other words, science doesn't recognize the force that created it, ha! There is always more to science. You can find arguments for and against this or that. I love that because that is the magic of life - flowing and free, not in a box. I know that can be mind bending, but not one thing will affect everyone the same way.
One of the best websites that outlines the disruptive science behind man-made electromagnetic frequencies (such as wireless) is Jeromy Johnson's EMF Analysis. His Ted Talk, below, outlines these key points:
How the cell phone industry advises not having the phone against your body.
Everyone is affected on the cellular level by EMF even if they can't feel it.
The WHO classifies man-made EMF as 'possibly carcinogenic.'
The FCC's wireless regulations are over 20 years old. Our advanced technology is using science that is 20 years old.
There is a 50 year old concept that if wireless can't heat us, it can't hurt us.
How the FCC is influenced by the tech industry.
The science is heavily influenced by funding from the tech industry.
A study by Henry Lai - How the science differs between industry and non-industry funding.

He also presents a few easy solutions to reduce exposure
Below is a brief list of some of the scientific sources Jeromy links to on this page: EMF Research. Jeromy's site is known for being one of the best on the topic. I remember when I needed this information to help others understand the issue I was facing. (Note that all the science in the world will not convince those who are not ready to go down this rabbit hole! This information is literally on a different wavelength. They rather think you are crazy, but take heart. You are not alone! :) )
His site links to some of these important studies:
Naval Medical Research Institute 2300 Studies on EMF Health Effects
2016 NTP study preliminary results showing that cell phone radiation causes cancer and DNA damage in rats.
2018 study by the prestigious Ramazzini Institute in Italy has confirmed the tumor results of the NTP study
Mechanism for non-thermal EMF cellular damage confirmed
Many, many more.

Now onto my own research...
Right after I became so sensitive that I couldn't work at the office any longer, I was asked by the Center for Electrosmog Prevention in San Diego, CA to be part of a national workgroup researching the effects of man-made EMF (radio-frequency microwave radiation, aka wireless). The goal of the workgroup was to provide those who find out they are electro-sensitive with information on how to be protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Little did I know the rabbit hole I had just fallen into! Below are links to a few of our findings (and they are star studded resources to boot!). If you know of anyone who faces the issue of being sensitive at their work, contact the Center for help.

There are also many studies easily found on PubMed, a highly acclaimed medical journal. You don't have to be a doctor to access them! Click to view studies on radio-frequency radiation. As of the date this blog was posted, none of the first page search results denied the negative effects.
So there you have it...and probably more than expected. When I first dug up this information, it was overwhelming to learn so many "authorities" have known for such a long time.
